In a recent Q&A with Harvard Law Today Elizabeth Bartholet, Child Advocacy Program Director, and James Dwyer, Professor at William & Mary School of Law, outline their concerns for children’s safety during continued online schooling this fall due to COVID. For the subset of children already at-risk for abuse and neglect, they emphasize the need for policy makers to have methods in place for preventing and responding to maltreatment effectively.
