Join the Child Advocacy Program (CAP) Friday, February 28, for a lunchtime discussion with producer Garrett Therolf and director/writer Brian Knappenberger of the soon-to-be-released Netflix documentary series, The Trials of Gabriel Fernandez.
This series chronicles the 2013 story of 8-year-old Gabriel Fernandez, who was tortured and killed by his mother and stepfather, and the aftermath of his death that reverberated through the Los Angeles County child welfare system.
